EXPERIENCE WEDDING PLANNERS WANTED 
We are currently seeking experienced wedding planners to join our team of event planners. We are looking for people who are organized, polished and professional. Knowledge of weddings, etiquette, manners, and religious practices is a must for working at the various churches, temples, and high-end venues we service. Other desirable qualities: multi-tasker, creative, quick on your feet, attentive to details, great listener, good memory, familiar with event planning software. But the most important requirement is a love of weddings and a willingness to do whatever it takes to provide an outstanding experience for our brides. Much of the planning work can be done from home during the week, but events are almost always on weekends. We cover all of Western North Carolina, so travel up to 2 hours away and/or overnights may be required for some events. The ability to stand for long periods of time and do some heavy lifting is necessary. After on-the-job training in our procedures and practices, planners may be assigned to work directly with wedding planning or day-of coordinating clients, with minimal supervision. Income potential depends on how many weddings you are able to work, and the size of the weddings and the responsibilities involved. Additional compensation available in the form of commissions on booked events. We are totally open to those who have their own planning businesses and are interested in subcontracting or gaining additional experience. Husband and wife teams are welcome! Event and Marketing Internship 2020-2 positions
Looking for two part-time, temporary interns whose main purpose will be to develop a website, social media profile, and marketing materials for three new ventures: a website devoted to day-of-coordinating, a directory of VBRO-type event venues, and our wedding vendor coaching business. The interns may also assist with weddings and other types of events on weekends, although most or our in-person events have been postponed until September.  Appx 10-15 hours per week. Compensation may be available, depending on experience. Requires some website development knowledge (Wordpress or a WSIWYG program like Wix or Weebly preferred), social media skills (Facebook, Linked In, Twitter, Insta, Pinterest, etc.) as well as marketing knowledge including Constant Contact. Strong Word and Excel skills necessary. Ideal for event planning or marketing majors who need some hands-on experience or hours to complete their degrees.
