A
standard 30x50 tent setup
Empty Frame Tent
The same tent at night with lights. We strung the lights ourselves around the
poles, with electric hookups provided by the tent company. We used long linen
tablecloths in alternating black and white, plain white chairs, and setup buffet
and cocktail tables around the outside. There were no facilities at this
place, so there was a separate 10x10 tent for the catering staff to setup and
serve from, another 10x10 for the DJ and dance floor, and another for the
restrooms.
A dance area strung with lights and scattered with cocktail tables. This was an
open cabin but you could do it with a tent.
Barn with white formal tablecloths and brown chairs, which
was probably a little too forma. But note the chandelier setup for lighting.
Very nice.
Buffet setup under a tent with colored linens and off white chairs. Lots of
color.
At an outdoor ceremony you don't need much. There was a gazebo we decorated with
tulle and potted ferns borrowed from a neighbor. Two shepherd hooks with potted
hanging plants marked the entrance. Easy.

Barn setup with long brown linens, ivory toppers , and red chairs. You almost
lose the brown linens because of the dark floor.
Another black and white wedding tent with a minimum of lights. We strung four
sets of lights and the lanterns (with battery operated lights) and that was it.
It was kind of dark, but it was ok.
Interior view of the same tent in the daylight. We used mostly white flowers and
candles that we arranged ourselves.
Night view of another tent with rented electric lanterns. Quite bright.

Basic tent setup with short linens and white plastic chairs.

Ceremony under a tent. Minimal decor except for the tulle-wrapped poles and the
arch.

Simple set up with long white linens, white wooden chairs and
striped toppers.

White tent with walls and white 3/4 lenth linens and white
plastic chairs.

Barn with white linens and black chairs and balloon centerpieces.
The balloons would be impossible to do in an open tent. It would have to have
walls.

Large open structure with multi-colored linens and plain black
chairs. Too busy? I can't decide!

Black and white tent with plain white wooden chairs, but with
chair sashes and runners using the same chair sashes. We almost never use the
full chair covers for some reason; it tends to look too formal for a tent or a
barn (not to mention the cost.)

One last tent with the white on white, accented by
burgundy.
