Memorial Service
Coordination
At no other time are the services of an event
planner probably more called for than at an event marking the end of
someone's life. While planning parties and weddings is fun, planning
a memorial service is difficult at best, particularly if
you live far away from the location. It can also be difficult if you
want to plan something other than the traditional funeral
ritual. Let us help you by being a kind, compassionate,
professional, friend throughout the whole process.
A typical memorial service package includes
assistance with:
Location research
Selection of theme, readings, and music
Hiring of musicians, speakers, and/or other performers
Writing of the obituary, announcements, invitations, and programs
Preparation of address lists and notification of those on the list
Rehearsal with officiant and/or master of ceremonies
Flowers or other decorations, urns
Greet guests and assist ushers with seating
Direct event
Hiring of videographer or photography for event
If there will be a reception afterwards, food, refreshments, etc.
Some related services for
which we can make
arrangements:
Assistance with children during
memorial services
Assistance with inventorying, packing and/or disposition of personal
effects
Transportation and assistance for elderly attendees
Scattering of ashes
Preparation of a scrapbook, slide show, PowerPoint or other
mixed media presentation documenting the life of the person
Referrals to qualified attorneys for assistance in settling the
estate

Planning
People are always saying, "At my funeral, I want
you to ..." If you are serious about seeing your wishes fulfilled,
we will be glad to assist you in formulating a plan, documenting it,
and referring you to a qualified attorney who can incorporate your
plan into a formal legal document for your survivors to act upon
when the time comes. Our kind and caring associates help those in good health and in bad, in
hospitals, and in hospices, and we'll be glad to help you wherever
you are on the road of life.
