Whether a small business, big business, non-profit, or
trade association, any business can benefit from holding a business event.
|
 |
| Open
Houses
A small gathering that showcases your business to new
customers, thanks
customers or employees for their loyalty, or helps you connect to
others in your industry. Often used in the real estate industry,
this type of event can also work for small businesses, as well
as non-profits. We've done these for real estate agents, new
restaurants, and other local businesses. Another name for this type
of event is "Friend-Raiser". |
Trade
Shows/Conventions
We can help you plan
a large event, such as a trade show or convention, that brings
together a large group of people for several days of activities,
sales or instruction, and involves programming not only for the
members of the group, but also their guests. Examples of shows I have
helped organize are: Holiday Shopping Market, Culinary Association
Annual Meeting, Regional Software User Group Annual Meeting, Office
Equipment Dealers Convention, Showcase of Local Wineries, "Taste of"
Style Food and Wine Shows, Mountain Bike Owners Rally, Wedding Shows and
Bridal Fairs. |

Fundraisers
A fundraiser is a party
with a purpose. Usually, the main purpose is to raise money, but they also
help increase loyalty among current members of your group, and make new
people aware of your organization, cause, or campaign. A good fundraiser
will have a loyal group of volunteers willing to work hard to make it a
success, but many groups today lack full time staff (or full time
volunteers) who can handle the overall organization of such a large event.
I have worked with a variety of non-profits as well as political campaigns
on producing successful events. I do not have any "magic"
fundraising ideas, but if you have a great idea, and lack the resources to
bring it to fruition, perhaps I can help.

you do not need a full event package, any of these duties can be performed
on an a-la-carte basis for a reasonable hourly fee. Call me at (828) 279-4132 or email me for a free consultation and
no-obligation quote. |
